Maria McGarry has represented Ireland at many international events, performing at the Biennale for Contemporary Artists in Puglia, Italy; the European Music Festival in Warsaw; the E.U. Cultural Week in New Delhi and at the Palais de Nations, Geneva.
Winner of numerous prizes and awards, she has performed as soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Spain's New Millennium Orquesta, the RTE Concert Orchestra, the London-Irish Camerata and the Dublin Symphony Orchestra.
Her recordings are released on Lyric Fm’s recent CD ‘Hiccup’ and CMC’s ‘Contemporary Music from Ireland Volume 9’. She has recorded for Polish National Radio, Lyric Fm and has featured on R.T.E.'s 'The Late-Late Show' and, as a fluent Irish speaker, on TG4.
