Towards a 4-date collaborative tour entitled ‘Rhizome(s)’ involving 2 Irish acts - Patrick Kelleher (vocals, guitar, electronics) and Thread Pulls (Gavin Duffy, bass/vocals/trumpet; Peter Maybury, drums/electronics) - and Swedish band, Thulebasen (Nis Bysted, vocals/guitar/electronics; Felia Gram Hanssen, drums; Niels Kristian Eriksen, guitar). Tour takes place in October 2010, visiting Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Tralee.
Alex Kidston €8,126
Towards a tour of Ireland, entitled “Vox Merus – Introduction to Brass”, featuring Simon Menin, trumpet; Andrea Vonk, trumpet; Cormac Ó hAodáin, horn; Steve Mathieson, trombone; Alex Kidston, tuba. Tour involves 6 concerts plus outreach work in Birr, Dublin, Wexford, Cork, Galway, Limerick, and three further dates in Northern Ireland (not funded by this award) and takes place between April and December 2011.

Towards “Vivaldi Cantatas Concerts”: a 6-date tour to Donnybrook (Dublin), Listowel, Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Collon (Co. Louth). Tour takes place between October and November 2010, featuring Deirdre Moynihan, soprano; Marja Gaynor, violin; Rachel Factor, harpsichord, and Malachy Robinson, violone.
Han-earl Park €4,200
Towards a 2-date tour and outreach work featuring Mathilde 253 (Han-earl Park, guitar; Ian Smith, trumpet/fluegelhorn; Charles Hayward, drums/percussion/melodica), with guest artist, American trumpeter Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith. Tour visits Dublin and Cork, and takes place in March/April 2011.

Towards a 3-date tour entitled “String Quartets Performed on Period Instruments” featuring the Callino Quartet (Sarah Sexton, violin; Michaela Girardi, violin; Rebecca Jones, viola; Sarah McMahon, cello). Tour takes place in November 2010, visiting Tuam, Kilkenny and Dublin.

Towards a 7-date tour plus outreach work featuring Héloise Geoghegan, violin, and Michael Joyce, piano. Tour takes place in September/October 2010, and visits Cork, Navan, Ballytobin, Waterford, Drogheda, Dublin and Shanagarry (Co. Cork).
