Spring 2017 Highlights

Our Spring 2017 season brought exceptional groups and ensembles of Irish and international musicians to audiences across the country, reaching 20 towns and villages in 16 counties. This season also saw an increase in Learning & Participation activities hosted by our touring musicians, with workshops, seminars and masterclasses held in 14 towns in 11 counties.

All-violin quartet featuring Leaders and Associate Leaders of Ireland's most prestigious orchestras - Mia Cooper, Katherine Hunka, Ioana Petcu-Colan and Helena Wood. In April the quartet toured to venues in Dublin, Birr, Newbridge, Dún Laoghaire, Castlebar, Clifden, Limerick, Cork and Tinahely.

€189,000 awarded through Music Capital Scheme

Music Network today announced the results of the Music Capital Scheme 2016. A total of €189,000 in funding from the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs has been awarded to 22 performing groups and 15 individual musicians.
