Hot Press Magazine previewed the Republic of Strings tour in their May issue, as well as on HotPress.com.

Concerts were also previewed online by the Mayo Advertiser and Bluegrass Ireland.

RTÉ lyric fm ran a competition for a pair of tickets to the opening night of the tour and a stay at the Merrion Hotel on Lunchtime Favourites, and the band went to RTÉ to record a session for The Blue of the Night which aired the night before the tour.
