Music Generation announces 9 new areas of Ireland selected for participation in its next phase

Music Generation today announced the 9 new areas of Ireland that will receive philanthropic funding from U2 and The Ireland Funds to create increased access to non-mainstream music tuition for children and young people in their local area.

World renowned guitarist Oscar Ghiglia, to perform at the National Opera House, Wexford, 23 October

Music Network is excited to announce a concert by legendary classical guitarist Oscar Ghiglia as part of its Artist Residency 2017 with the National Opera House and Wexford County Council. On Monday 23rd October, Ghiglia will perform a solo recital of his concert favourites by composers J. S. Bach, Fernando Sor, Frank Martin, Maurice Ohana, Manuel Maria Ponce, Manuel de Falla and Giampaolo Bracali.
