As part of their tour, the four musicians facilitated Learning and Participation activities around the country. 76 participants took part across the eleven workshops, in Wexford, Dublin, Sligo, Ennis and Letterkenny. We partnered with Danescastle Music GroupAn Góilín Traditional Singers Club, Music Generation Sligo, Sligo Traditional Singers Circle, Music Generation Clare, and Donegal Music Education Partnership to coordinate the activities.

Ahead of the first concert of the tour, at the National Opera House, Wexford, Pádraig Rynne and Aoife Ní Bhriain facilitated workshops with members of Danescastle Music Group.   

In Dublin, Julie facilitated a Gaelic song workshop with members of An Góilín Traditional Singers Club at The Sugar Club before the performance there that evening.

In Sligo, Pádraig Rynne facilitated a composition workshop with members of Music Generation Sligo, and Julie Fowlis worked with Sligo Traditional Singers Circle ahead of the concert at the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo.

In Ennis, Pádraig Rynne facilitated a composition workshop, and Julie Fowlis facilitated a Gaelic song workshop- both with Music Generation Clare members at glór, Ennis before their concert there.

In Letterkenny, Kris Drever, Julie Fowlis, Aoife Ní Bhriain and Pádraig Rynne all facilitated instrumental workshops with Donegal Music Education Partnership members ahead of their concert at the Regional Cultural Centre.
