November 2016: Anneleen Lenearts & Dionysis Grammenos

As part of their tour, Anneleen and Dionysis facilitated seven Learning and Participation activities, in Dublin, Castlebar, Portlaoise and Athenry.

Ahead of the first concert of the tour, Anneleen held a masterclass at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama. Five DIT students participated in the class, with staff, students and external musicians observing.

Anneleen attended the Athenry School of Music on Friday 11th November to hold two workshops with students of Úna Ní Fhlannagáin. The students travelled to the Station House Theatre in Clifden the next day to see Anneleen in concert with Dionysis Grammenos.

In advance of their concert in Portlaoise, Anneleen and Dionysis held group classes with harp students of Music Generation Laois and clarinet students of Laois School of Music .

On the final day of the tour, Dionysis held a masterclass with students of the Mayo Youth Orchestra at the Linenhall Arts Centre.
