Young Orchestral Pops (YOPS) Orchestra

YOPs was set up in 2002 under the direction of Ms. Kitty Dalligan, to offer string students the opportunity to play film music, traditional music, popular classics and newly commissioned works.

YOPs now includes both a Junior and Senior Orchestra – the Junior Orchestra caters for students aged 7-13 years and the Senior Orchestra for students aged 11-18 years.

Both orchestras rehearse mainly on the first Sunday of each month, in the Scoil Bhríde, Oakley Road, Ranelagh.
