Q&A with pianist and composer Conor Linehan

Join pianist and composer Conor Linehan, musician-in-residence at Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council on Tuesday 9th October at 1pm, for a Q&A at dlr LexIcon as he shares his creative process and the work created during the residency.

As musician-in-residence, Conor performed two concerts at the dlr LexIcon that included a showing of a work in progress 'Madame Violante's Commodious Booth', a piece based on Ravel's cycle 'Le Tombeau de Couperin' with movement by Emma O'Kane, and a new composition by Conor Linehan for piano and violin based on and incorporating interviews with friends and family around growing up in Blackrock in the 70s and 80s.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office Musicians-in-Residence Scheme 2018 is jointly funded by the Arts Council, and managed by Music Network.
