"The masterclass was fantastic! The feedback I received was incredibly helpful and there was an immediate improvement evident in my pieces through applying the suggested changes. The best thing about the masterclass was probably the advice I received regarding phrasing and slurring. The way in which Joanna MacGregor presented her advice was also a great aspect of the masterclass. She created a very warm, encouraging environment in which I felt relaxed and confident (even while addressing some of my weaknesses!). It will be brilliant to hear the suggestions and advice I received in the masterclass come to life through Joanna MacGregor’s own performance." - Dublin participant

"Joanna drew out such a lot in the students! Two of our students went on to win top prizes in the Feis Ceoil, so the work Joanna did gave them the final push they needed!" - Dublin co-ordinator

"The best things about the masterclass were the relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the instrument, and the unique suggestions given by Joanna." - Dublin participant

"I loved the new ideas and techniques that Joanna presented to me." - Dublin participant

"The masterclasses were absolutely fantastic. Joanna was wonderful to watch, to take her hints on every aspect of piano technique, essence of the music and how to approach it. We were so privileged to have such a performer/educator/composer in Waterford. All of the students will remember this event for life, as will everyone who heard her play and speak." - Waterford co-ordinator

"I enjoyed the fact it was in a proper concert hall and how Joanna interacted with me as I played." - Cork participant

"I loved the wonderful advice and ideas that really helped to improve my playing." - Cork participant

Joanna performed in Cork, Dublin 1, Sligo, Castlebar, Dun Laoghaire, Waterford and Westmeath on her Music Network tour. Take a look at her journey here.
