Hot Club of Cowtown's tour was previewed in the Senior Times Magazine, Irish Examiner and the

Ahead of the gig, tracks from the band's latest album 'Midnight on the Trail' were played on lyric fm's The Blue of the Night and RTÉ Radio 1's Country Time.

Ronnie Norton from interviewed Elana James ahead of the tour, and reviewed the gig at The Sugar Club on Tuesday 25 October.

"The playing throughout is timeless, seamless and almost telepathic by three instrumentalists and vocalists that appear to effortlessly achieve the perfect balance between the Texan swing sound of Bob Willis and the mid-20th century French jazz vibe of Stéphane Grapelli and Django Reinhardt."

Learning and Participation Activities:

During their national tour, Hotclub of Cowtown facilitated two Learning and Participation activities, a demonstration / question and answer session, and a fiddle/string instrument workshop.
