Our Spring season opened with a truly mouth-watering prospect as the legendary vocalist Maura O’Connell, the “songwriter’s singer”, teamed up with the peerless Karan Casey, backed by the virtuoso pairing of Lúnasa’s Ed Boyd on guitar and piano accordionist Martin Tourish of Altan fame. They began an eleven-date tour (Dublin; Bray; Dun Laoghaire; Letterkenny; Ennis; Castlebar; Sligo; Cork; Newbridge; Roscommon and Clifden) on Wednesday 14 January 2015.
