Irish Music Magazine's Grainne McCool interviewed Dervish frontwoman Cathy Jordan for the magazine's August 2017 issue. Cathy shared her thoughts on working with Mick and Jarlath.

"I love [Mick's] voice and I'm a big fan of Four Men and a Dog. I've only met Jarlath a couple of times and he's an amazing musician with an equally amazing voice. I'm really looking forward to the tour and working with them both."

The tour was featured in gig guides on,, and the, and Cathy wrote a blog piece for RTÉ Culture.

"Through this Music Network project our musical paths have crossed delightfully, giving us a chance to explore our common ground using a huge musical arsenal. While we all love to play traditional tunes, we are all singers, so this project will be for the most part song-based, and it has been very exciting to play and harmonise with Mick and Jarlath and explore each other's approaches to the various songs."

The Irish Examiner interviewed local legend Mick Daly ahead of their performance at Triskel Christchurch as part of The Cork Folk Festival 2017.

Paul Keating from the Irish Voice newspaper in New York reviewed the concert at The Sugar Club.

"The net result was a marvelous blend of voices and instrumentation for two sets played to a capacity crowd on a wet and cold Tuesday night that only emphasized what a powerhouse country Ireland is for producing talent like this, and an organization like Music Network which seeks to share it around the country on behalf of the artists and the cultural remit it espouses.

"Their tasteful interaction is an indication of how important the traditional arts are to Ireland's well-being and cultural development and how projects like this and funding schemes to enhance it are money well-spent. Long may that continue."
