Celebrated Irish violinist Mairéad Hickey performing with acclaimed French harpist Agnès Clément
Music Network has announced a change of artist for its tour featuring the Irish violinist Mairéad Hickey, who will now perform with the French harpist Agnès Clément.

The duo will tour Ireland from 7th – 16th October, with stops in Baile Mhúirne, Cork City, Tinahely, Dún Laoghaire, Stradbally, Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny and Clifden. Mairéad and Agnès will also perform at Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris on 13th November.

Celebrated for her captivating expression, soaring tone and fearless virtuosity, Mairéad Hickey‘s natural ability to communicate sincerely and with beauty and integrity has entranced audiences worldwide. As a soloist Mairéad has performed with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Württembergisches Kammerorchester, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Mainz, Kremerata Baltica,Camerata Ireland and many others in some of the major halls around the world. Her Carnegie Hall debut was described as ‘…magical, penetrating to the heart and soul of the music.’ (New York Epoch Times)

Agnès Clément is recognised as a musician of exceptional talent whose astonishing virtuosity has won her widespread acclaim. Awarded 1st Prize at the ARD Music Competition in Munich and the USA International Harp Competition, Agnès is considered one of the most gifted harpists of her generation. Since her solo debuts at the Berliner Philharmonie, Salle Gaveau (Paris) and Lyon & Healy Concert Hall (Chicago), Agnès has been regularly invited to perform on the international stage as a soloist with orchestras such as Symphoniorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (Bavarian Radio Orchestra), Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Colombia, Munich Chamber Orchestra, and many others.
