Shapeshifting: An Evening of New Folk Music & Poetry with Patrick Stefan

After a wonderful four-month residency, a partnership with Music Network and St John's Theatre and Arts Centre in Listowel, we are excited to present Patrick Stefan’s special concert, Shapeshifting: An Evening of New Folk Music & Poetry.

This special concert will mark the end of his time in Listowel and will showcase Patrick's work, which has been deeply inspired by local bird-song, blending his talents as a musician and his perspective as someone who received an autism diagnosis as an adult—a discovery that he describes as "illuminating" and a key to understanding his creative journey.

In celebration of Autism Awareness Month, following the launch of Listowel's autism-friendly town project, Patrick will be joined by special guests he collaborated with during his residency, including poet Barbara Derbyshire and musician & music therapist Tommy Hayes.

Everyone is welcome, and the concert is FREE to attend, with no booking required. Don’t miss this beautiful evening of music, poetry, and community!

Patrick Stefan is an award-winning Irish/Dutch songwriter from Co. Clare & Dublin who released his debut album Wayfare in September 2022, an urban-folk document of Patrick's unique & colourful travels from Scandinavia, Brazil, to west Africa and back home.
