The Drake Calleja Trust awards scholarships to classical instrumentalists and singers studying in higher education in the UK. There is no restriction on nationality and no upper age limit. The amounts awarded range from £2,500 to £9,000 for the whole academic year and are based on the individual’s financial needs, talent and potential. As well as financial support, the trust offers concert opportunities. Applications open in January, with auditions in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff in May.
