How to find Siamsa Tíra
I’m attending an event at Siamsa Tíra and travelling via car. Will there be parking?

There is parking available on-site, and a drop-off point directly outside the main entrance. Additionally, there is designated parking for visitors with disabilities.

How do I get to Siamsa Tíra using Public Transport?

Bus from Tralee Station:
From Tralee train station, you can take a bus to the town center or directly to Siamsa Tíra. Several bus routes, including 273, 274, 278, 283, and 300, serve the area near Siamsa Tíra.

Bus from Killarney:

Alternatively, you can take Bus Eireann routes 279 or others from Killarney Bus Station to Tralee Bus Station.

Local Link:

Local Link buses also serve Tralee and surrounding areas, providing connections to various locations including Siamsa Tíra.

How do I get to Siamsa Tíra on foot?

Leaving Tralee Train Station, turn right on John Jo Sheehy Rd and take the first left onto Edward St. At the end of Edward Street, turn right onto Lower Castle Street and take the following left onto Denny Street. Continue to the end of Denny Street and turn right onto Ivy Street, Siamsa Tíra is on your left hand side.

Is Siamsa Tíre accessible?

Accessible Seating
The main auditorium has the facility for 3 wheelchair spaces in row O, which is fully accessible via a seamless ramp from the foyer. If you are making a group booking which requires more than 3 wheelchair spaces, please contact our Box Office as soon as possible as additional space may be possible depending on the type of performance you plan to attend.

If you wish to book accessible seating, please contact the Box Office as much in advance of the show as possible. Please advise the Box Office staff of all of your requirements when booking and we can see if we can accommodate these requests.

Accessible Toilet Facilities

Our theatre has accessible toilet facilities in the foyer area to the left of the Theatre Bar.

Our accessible toilet is fitted with an alarmed Red Cord. If any customer requires assistance in the toilet, they can pull this cord and it will emit a small beep that will alert staff. This cord should always be left hanging freely to the floor. If you notice that it has been moved, please inform a member of staff immediately.

Loop System

Our theatre space was the first theatre in Ireland to include a hearing loop system when it was first built. Please switch your hearing device to the T position in order to use the system.

Use of Strobe Lighting / Stroboscopic Lighting and Other Stage Effects

Strobe lighting, lighting that produces stroboscopic effects, smoke machines and other theatrical effects may be used during some of our shows. If you are affected by any of these effects, please contact the Box Office in advance of purchasing your tickets and we can advise you if they are being used.

Concession Tickets

We at Siamsa Tire recognise and acknowledge people’s differences and support them with their individual needs. Concession tickets may be available on certain performances for those with additional needs and for their carers if they need assistance. Please contact Box Office on 066 7123055 for more information.

Early Entry and Courtesy Seating Area

We operate an early entry service for any of our customers who would like to enter the auditorium before we open the doors for the main audience. Please identify yourself at Box Office at least 30 minutes before the show and the Duty Manager can arrange this. On booking your ticket, our Box Office can reserve seating close to the theatre entrance, for those who are less able to stand waiting in the lobby area.

Baby Changing Facilities

There is a baby changing fold down table located in our accessible toilet facilities.

Buggies, Pushchairs & Carrier Seats

Please note that buggies, pushchairs and child carrier seats are not permitted in the auditorium for health and safety reasons. We can store your buggy, pushchair or carrier seat in our foyer area. There will be a member of staff in the foyer at all times.
