The Music Network Artist Residency Programme positions musicians at the very heart of local communities.

Presented annually in a partnership between Music Network, a venue and a local authority, our residencies support professional performing musicians to curate a concert series with integrated community-focused participatory activities. Music Network Artist Residencies have been presented in Cork, Wexford and Wicklow to date.

In early 2021, Making Music with Sonamus: the Wicklow Teaching Residency was launched providing a shared learning opportunity for County Wicklow residents aged 55 and over. This Residency is presented by Music Network and Wicklow County Council.

Music Network also manages the DLR Musicians-in-Residence Scheme, which is jointly funded by DĂșn Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the Arts Council, and provides an annual one-month residency for a musician in partnership with the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.
