The Máirtín O’Connor Trio brings audiences on a thrilling musical journey, pushing boundaries while remaining deeply rooted in the Irish music tradition. Their exceptional musicianship and electrifying performances have earned them widespread acclaim and a devoted international following.

At the heart of the trio is accordion maestro Máirtín O’Connor. Celebrated for his work with De Danann and Riverdance, his name has been synonymous with the accordion for decades both as an instrumentalist and exceptional composer/arranger. He is joined by Cathal Hayden, All-Ireland champion on fiddle and banjo and a founding member of Four Men and a Dog. Across the tour, they are joined by two exceptional musicians: the brilliant multi-instrumentalist Séamie O’Dowd, highly regarded for his contributions to bands such as Dervish and The Unwanted and one of the most in demand accompanists on the Irish music scene today, Patrick Doocey. Each will feature on selected dates throughout the tour and bring their own distinctive flair to the stage.

Adding another powerful dimension is special guest Kathleen MacInnes, one of Scotland’s most captivating voices. Raised in the Outer Hebrides and immersed in Gaelic language and song from an early age, Kathleen has earned widespread acclaim for the authenticity and emotional depth of her singing. With a distinguished career spanning stage and screen, she brings a commanding presence to every performance.

Don’t miss this extraordinary collaboration, showcasing outstanding artistry in both musical traditions.
