Athenry Music School was founded in 2007 with 4 teachers and a student body of 60. It has since grown to a faculty of 25 and over 500 students who arrive each week for individual lessons, ensembles, orchestras and choirs. The School has also founded seven outreach programmes, and through Music Capital Scheme grants and music school donations has placed over €30,000 worth of musical instruments in local schools serving over 1000 students to date.
