Music Generation Westmeath is a music education service for children and young people aged 0-18 across Westmeath. It is part of Music Generation - Ireland's National Music Education Programme, initiated by Music Network, funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, The Department of Education and Skills, and Local Music Education Partnerships.

Music Generation Westmeath is managed by Offaly/Westmeath Music Education Partnership, in partnership with Westmeath County Council and Athlone Education Centre. Instrument provision is currently available only to participating schools, community groups and ensembles with a full compliment of instruments for their programme as required.
