Founded in 1994, Waltons New School of Music is a comprehensive music centre offering tuition in a wide range of instruments (including voice), subjects and genres for students of all ages and skill levels.

Other activities include:

• An extensive Outreach Programme, providing workshops and longer-term music courses for schools, youth centres and special needs organisations.
• A Music at Work Programme, providing music courses in Dublin-area workplaces.
• The Waltons World Masters Series, which has brought to Ireland some of the world’s most extraordinary musicians and performing groups.
• The Waltons Music for Schools Competition, an annual national competition celebrating and supporting music in Irish schools.

Waltons New School of Music offers practice/rehearsal space hire, complete with pianos, for use by individuals, ensembles and choirs.
