YMCA Cork partners with young people to provide life changing youth work in the Cork region. Its programmes range from creative (e.g. music, film, misc digital media etc) within its Youth Information and Advocacy programme, to vocational programmes such as the STEP and ELEVATE programmes and youth space projects like Groundfloor in Cork city and The Shack in Clonakilty. YMCA Cork City has a selection of instruments that young programme participants are free to use or borrow.
