Resilience and a Career in Music

Resilience and a Career in Music
Internationally acclaimed violinist Tasmin Little presents a session part of the Taking Charge of your Performance Career series designed to help musicians develop the resilience needed to navigate the unique set of circumstances associated with a career in music.

Drawing on several decades of experience, Tasmin explores topics such as establishing faith in your artistic identity, recognising your full skillset, staying motivated through difficult points in your career and personal life, handling failure and rejection, and maintaining a busy and demanding work schedule.

This session took place on 12th December 2022 and was one of a three-part professional development course for musicians, Taking Charge of Your Performance Career: Developing Essential Skills.
