Inspired by the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, The Thinning Veil explores the moment when the boundary between our world and the Otherworld grows thin — when spirits, memories, and melodies intertwine.

Through her residency at The Carnegie, Alannah is delving deep into local ghost stories and legends — from The Waiting Lady of Ardgillan Castle to Puck the Court Jester of Malahide and Peggy’s Rock in Skerries. The result is an evocative new suite of music that breathes life into Fingal’s spectral past.
