What are we looking for?

We’re looking for musicians who are up for working in a playful, responsive way with an unpredictable and wonderful audience. Performers will move about during the performance and interact with the children and anything could happen – so we’re looking for people who are up for this delightful challenge! We need people who are willing to perform from memory, respond in the moment, can work in a wide range of musical styles, and who are available for all of the session dates. Previous experience of working with children and babies is a bonus, but not essential. Some singing ability is a must as is a willingness to work in a different way with such a distinct audience.

What does the application process entail?

After receipt of applications, prospective mentees will be contacted and invited for interview. The interviews will take place on the afternoon of Dec 1st 2025 in Riverbank Arts Centre.

Please send in a 1-page expression of interest, CV (no more than 3 pages) and links to/ examples of previous work.
